Is buying a holiday home a good investment?
A holiday home really is a fantastic investment in your leisure time because the purpose of owning a holiday home at Gorse Hill is to provide you with a relaxing carefree environment for you and your family.
Do I own the land?
No, you are buying a holiday home along with the right to occupy a pitch on the park for as long as you like, providing you pay your annual pitch fees and adhere to the park rules. But you are not purchasing the land.
Can I choose the location of my caravan holiday home?
Yes, you can have a choice of any available location on the park, there are however some areas that may be more costly and these will be explained to you as we tour the park.
What happens when we have run our course and want to dispose of the caravan?
You have three options:
You can sell back to the park.
You can sell the caravan off site to whom ever you want.
Providing the caravan is under 10 years old you can sell the caravan back on the park which attracts a 15% commission.
Is there an age limit on my holiday home?
As with all parks there is an age limit, but at Gorse Hill we do not consider it fair that you only get 10 years with a new caravan after spending all your hard earned money, so we offer a 20 year guarantee from the date of manufacture.
Can family and friends visit me at the park?
Yes, all we ask is that they abide by the park rules and that you remind them that we are a dog free park.
What annual costs do I have to pay?
Site fees, rates, gas, electric and insurance.
Can I let my holiday home?
No, we are an owner's only park and do not allow holiday makers on the park.
Do you offer finance packages?
We are a licensed credit broker. Written details are available upon request. Finance is subject to status.
